Ripley PR Adds Two, Promotes One, Adapts to Meet Thriving Operations

Global PR agency specializing in franchise, home service and B2B promotes brand manager to account supervisor and hires two award-winning journalists to meet the increasing demands for services

Ripley PR, a global public relations agency specializing in franchise, home service and B2B, has added Joel Davis and Thomas Fraser to its growing team as senior content specialists. The company also promoted senior brand manager JD Sizemore to account supervisor.

With the increasing need for companies to develop stories that command attention in an attention-deficit world —both in the form of earned media and owned media —Davis and Fraser will be responsible for developing content in a variety of formats for the agency’s growing list of clients. With extensive backgrounds as writers, editors and journalists, their goal will be to develop stories that resonate with audiences in a variety of industries.

Before joining Ripley PR, Davis worked for The Daily Times where he covered county and state government issues. During a 21-year career as a writer and journalist, he has worked for publications throughout East Tennessee and in Arizona.

Fraser, who has also spent 21 years in the professional journalism ranks, returned to East Tennessee following his most recent assignment as a city editor in Central Virginia. He worked for The Daily Times from 1997 to 2006 where he covered a range of subjects, including the General Assembly and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He joined the editing ranks in 2006 as a metro editor for Gannett New Jersey and then spent five years as an editor in Asheville, North Carolina.

Sizemore was promoted to help the brand managers within the agency provide even better service to the growing roster of clients. As account supervisor, he will provide continuity and guidance to the other brand managers, content specialists and media coordinators on the Ripley PR team, with the main goal of improving the client experience and retention.
